Search for stolen Worcester Rescue boat
Please help us to find an emergency rescue boat stolen from Worcester. Please circulate through out your contacts. We need to get national coverage ASAP for a good chance of finding it.

Boat Description:
- Make: Valiant RIB (Rigid Inflateable Boat)
- Model: DR520
- Colour: Orange
- Engine: 80hp Yamaha 4 Stroke
- Trailer: Degraff
- Uniques Features: Silver "A" frame on the back with a blue light on top. Black cover over the seats and grey cover over the top sides of the boat.
Theft Details:
Time: 3rd October 2009 between 0100hrs and 0930hrs
Location: Broomhall Road, St Peter's, Worcester

The boat was used as a rescue boat in support of the emergency services. Many of you that live in worcester have probably seen the boat stored by the Norton island in St Peters ready for deployment.
The boat is used by volunteers to respond to 999 emergencies. The boat is also used for training and responding within local based search and rescue teams. The boats also provides safety cover for events nation wide including the famous Devizes to Westminster paddling race, and played a big part in the evacuation of the 2007 floods.
As you can see the boat is an asset to the community and we need it back ready for its duties. Someones selfish act may have cost someone their life!
